COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Community Volunteer Opportunities:

School Partnerships:

We have volunteer opportunities available at local schools, including Kooken Educational Center, Thornton Elementary, and Carter Junior High. Throughout the school year we provide teacher encouragement & appreciation (goody bags, breakfasts, etc). Other opportunities include volunteering at special events like Trunk or Treat. For more information, contact Pastor Molly.

Angel Team:
We get requests year-round from our school partners like swimsuits, school supplies, undies, clothes, etc. to support our ministries in the schools. If you'd like to join the team, who helps shop for, fund, or deliver items, reach out to Pastor Molly.

Kid’s Hope USA Mentoring:
At Thornton Elementary, we’ve deepened our partnership through the Kid’s Hope USA. Kid’s Hope USA is a mentoring program matching one student with one mentor for one hour each week undergirded by one prayer partner. We’ve deepened our relationships at Thornton Elementary School to launch a program this year. We still need mentors and prayer partners. Are you interested? Reach out to Pastor Molly!

Cloud Covered Streets:

Our church has partnered with Cloud Covered Streets to offer their mobile shower/laundry unit on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Wednesday of each month. We are looking for volunteers to serve one hour (or more if they choose) time slots to be hospitable and connect with our neighbors. You can sign up to volunteer by clicking here:

We also try to provide certain fresh foods that you can drop off anytime between Sunday AM prior  and our 8:30 AM Wednesday start time. Click here to sign up!

For more information about this ministry, please contact Pastor Molly.
